Circuit Documentation
Summary
This circuit is designed to control three 12V geared motors using BTS7960 motor drivers, which are interfaced with an Arduino UNO microcontroller. The Arduino UNO also interfaces with an Adafruit Arcade Joystick to receive directional inputs. Two 12V batteries are included in the circuit to provide power to the motor drivers and the Arduino UNO.
Component List
Power Sources
- 12v Battery: Provides the main power source for the motor drivers and the Arduino UNO.
Motor Drivers
- BTS7960 Motor Driver: A high-power motor driver designed to drive high current loads. It is used to control the speed and direction of the motors.
Microcontroller
- Arduino UNO: A microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P. It is used to control the motor drivers based on the input from the joystick.
Input Devices
- Adafruit Arcade Joystick: An input device that provides directional control signals to the Arduino UNO.
Actuators
- 12V Geared Motor: These motors are controlled by the motor drivers and are used to perform mechanical actions based on the joystick inputs.
